Planning for the Overland Track can be a lot of fun. It gives you a chance to dream and look forward to your time on the track. Being well prepared means you will enjoy more of your time and have a greater capacity to deal with issues as they pop up.

You need to organise the basic logistics (accommodation, transport, park passes, etc) as well as making sure you and your friends are well prepared (food, gear, fitness, skills etc).
