Campsites, Huts and Shelters

These campsites, huts and shelters are places that can help improve your overall experience on the track. Avoid rushing your journey to just get from one hut to the next, think of these spaces as places to help you settle in and make the most of your journey. Avoid getting sucked into spending too much time just sitting inside the hut; plan to cook & eat outside, watch sunsets, swim and explore the area. Huts and campsites also present an opportunity to meet fellow walkers, playing cards, share a drink and support people who are struggling.

Remember that spaces in all huts and campsites are based on a first-come basis. Also remember we are all friends, so try to make room for people who want to squeeze in, especially when the weather is wild.
