Hey all, sorry if there is already a thread about this, but if so, I couldn't see it...

DARKMOFO going on at the moment in Hobart, have only been out to a couple of things, but it's been great so far! Pretty keen to get to the Winter Feast starting Thursday.

A few photos from Ryoji Ikeda's Spectra [Tasmania] at the Cenotaph, and Ian Burns' Afloat Asunder at The Bond Store.

Definitely worth getting along to. Anyone else been to anything? Keen to see anything?

Yeah it's all pretty cool, Hobart is waaay to hip these days.

I've been wandering about, was at O-night and have been taking a few pics around the place. I'll be at the Winter Feast doing some filming(and eating).

Nice shots btw.

Seems that some people want a permanent display? Apparently there is interlektuel property in shining lights into the sky.

Think It'd wear thin pretty quick, the beauty of it is that it is temporary. Should come check it out nuts, you might be surprised...

Agreed SBS, I don't think it would be great as a permanent feature.

On a nice day you can make out the tower on Wellington from PB, I wouldnt be surprised if you could see it from most of the SW peaks on a clear night.

Too bad nuts, the winter feast is pretty special, shows the taste what can be done. Fabulous!
Skipped up the mountain with the hordes last night after feasting :)

You did .... I know him too. :P

The video of the event showed males and females taking part and a fair spread of ages, shapes and sizes.

They didn't look 'brave', kinda 'delirious' really. It was all a bit of a blur though.

That was the pixellation. :)

People actually flew in from interstate to participate.

We could have a bushwalk.com group next year. :P

Do it John, pretty special time in Hobart, and thanks but couldn't put a pic of traffic and a city in a bushwalking comp :)
