Shook the excrement out of us here in Frankston.

My daughter in Somerville had the grandkids cowering in the cupboard. Freaky stuff.

No damage except the screw top lid on the Olive oil bottle flew off and landed 1 ft away in the pantry...must put it on tightly for the next one.

My wife said that someone reported feeling it in Bondi. But I suspect that person may fail a breath test.

I asked my wife if she was bumping the table with her leg - No was her answer

It was a wierd feeling as I felt the table move. I later heard there had been an earthquake in Victoria.

Just the big one at 9.15 here. If there was a preliminary bout at 3.00am I'm pretty sure that we didn't get it because the dog didn't bark and I didn't wake up. (the dog is a more reliable indicator than I am :) )

Funny, I was at work in Launceston at the time and felt nothing.

That's the most Victoria has moved in the last 18 months.

Apparently it hit the Melbourne suburb of Gonaddenn really badly. Relief workers are still trying to work out what the suburb was called before the earthquake.
