Auto log on with i-phone 6?

Is there a way to do this?
Edit (senior moment - it's been a while since I logged in on my phone): Even though I tick the 'log me on automatically each visit' button, it never does. Maybe it's something in my settings that prevents it. Thanks for any ideas.

Try Settings->Safari->Enable First Party Cookies

I'm not a tech expert but it is the first place I'd look as cookies store basic info like login for sites you visit.

You' may need to close and restart your browser for changes to take effect.

Ah, that makes sense.
I found it, and hadn't blocked all cookies, but had prevented cross-site tracking.
I have blocked pop-ups. Could that be the problem?
