Based in Sydney, looking for a -5 to -10ish lightweight sleeping bag, not sure if womens or mens makes a difference, im a 5'9 slim woman.
Will use for it for a multi-day hike late autumn/ winter in Blue Mountains and sping in NZ Sth Island.
Used my old regular (not a specialist brand) sleeping bag camping in April and found it too cold, so want a new one so that im not restricted to going out in warmer temps.
Would love it to be light though am open to the options available!
Thanks
Susan

Facebook market place has several in that range at the moment.
Hard to give real advice without some idea of budget and desired maximum weight tho.

Thanks! To be honest, I don't know exactly what specs I should be going for, just prefer to keep it light as Ias possible and warm - though I won't be camping in snow, I feel the cold.
Price range - under $400, if poss... if not, im trying to work out the best fabric to make one out of and where to buy it from
Shout out if you have any recommendations of brands!

Hi, I have a Neve Gear Waratah -8C with extra down (so more like a -10-12C). Like new, Would sell for $440 shipped.
As a side note, make sure you have a mat that is warm enough otherwise you'll get cold regardless of how warm you sleeping bag is

Should have said, mine is the long/wide with 900 fp goose down and 100g extra down. Price new was $600 shipped. Can also include a S2S compression stuff sack and do $429 to match the price of the -8C with lower quality duck down
