TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Looking for light weight foldable hat with stiff brim

This might sound like a silly question but I am looking for light weight foldable hat with stiff brim. Most such hats come with a floppy brim which I don't like. Other features I would like are a concealable chin strap that can be used in windy conditions.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have had a play with one in the flesh, was enough for me to put one on order last week.

oh this is an easy one to deal with.
I have just the place for you to go ... the best $32 you'll ever spend.
I've had so many comments about this hat on four trips to South America that I ended up buying one and posting it to my guide on a recent trip to Peru.
