TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

If you saw this rope and though it could be good for anything... avoid it like the plague. Doesn't even pass a 25kg drop test so would be useless for scrambling or pretty much anything really. Note the company website is under construction.

Excellent little video. Hooly dooly, what a product. They've been flogging 30 metre lengths of fine looking stuff for under $10 at Bunno's and Mitre 10. But is it this stuff? Have to go home and have a look. It's lightness is the attractive part, but when you pinch it, it's very hollow and flimsy feeling.
Bought a couple of lengths of it. So just double it up. But the advertising as "heavy duty" is clearly a worry. Like a certain "Safety Footwear", aka thongs.

Simply "Braided Rope: Multi purpose, light weight, floats." 9mm x 30m weighs 900 gms. The 9mm is deceptive as it pinches flattish.
