TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. Eureka tent info

Does anyone know what model the tent John Champan uses, as shown in his books? It's a blue Eureka tunnell design. Just curious...

The grey/black one in some of his books (eg.South West Tas p.184) is a Eureka 'Polar Storm'. It is an old model - I had one the same in the mid-1990's. It is bombproof, big (3 person) and weighs about 4kg. I still have mine somewhere but the floor started leaking a few years back.
