TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hilleberg Soulo question

Hi everyone, I'm just about to order a Soulo and had a quick question for any current users.

If you use the footprint will you still need pole holder kit to pitch the tent without the inner (free-standing)?

Cheers, Nick

Pretty sure you only need the pole holder kit if you want to pitch the inner only. You can pitch the outer (sans inner) without the kit.

Yes, you only need the pole holder kit for setting up the inner by itself.
Great tent, you won't be disappointed :D
