TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Just curious Wayno (no judgement, not to start an argument) but do you have a reason for these links other than Just being helpful? (Send people to your blog, pay-per-post or something? Work in outdoor retail and are sent updates? Anything like that?) (just as a forum member, not a moderation question (most likely), those things may all be legit..) Gear updates and reviews are easily found with a search, I guess it adds 'content' to the site..

I dont make any money from the outdoor industry or my posts
i don't know anyone personally who stands to make money from the links.
it's just about sharing information. comparative reviews means only having to post one link with a lot of potential information,
its just links i've read and taken a few seconds to pass it on to people here who may be interested as well.
if i had any links to the outdoor industry i would put that information on my profile..

Ha ha Nuts asks the question I kind of wondered about myself. I never bothered asking as most of the info was on a broad range of gear and didnt seem tied to any brand or association. I suspect Wayno is just a Gear Freak :)
