TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

But it seems the PHD halfbag was very short lived
http://www.phdesigns.co.uk/product_info ... cts_id=366I would assume from the weight of the shell it would be far too fragile to use on its own, any guesses as to how it compares with the Mont equivalent

Actually the half bag is available until 07 August
And I have spent all my money on other stuff this winter

Definitely not too fragile to use on its own. Plenty of people use 10-denier shells on their sleeping bags, myself included. As long as you are in a shelter or at least on a ground-sheet there is no issue.
