TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Summer alpine rain jacket

Wed 21 Oct, 2015 1:12 pm

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a summer alpine rain jacket that can be for daily use as well. Because I travel frequently to south east Asia, the jacket needs to be very breatheable in hot and humid conditions. I'm looking for something that can be used on multi day treks (mayb 5hours of rain a day) so must be able to handle bag packs. I've looked at a few options, mainly: Rab latok alpine, Atmos, Spark, xiom and Marmot Artemis and Mammut Kento. Out of these, which do u think is best? Or are there any other options? I need to be able to purchase it locally in Australia as well :D thanks guys
