TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Mountain Designs has Lost the Plot

Those of use who are old enough to remember when Rick White ran Mountain Designs may remember the original of this bag

To bring back an iconic name and a similar colour scheme and not even try and reproduce the original specifications seems a travesty
Does anybody remember the original Bright Blue and vivid white shell, hot cut fabric, double differential cut Oversized V-baffles, seriously large footbox for booted feet and a full three pounds of Polish down?
I do but back then I didn't need or even want a bag suitable for -40 being content with my old Redline

Can't complain about the specified weight MD. For only 750 g of fill, the gross weight is very retro
