TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

S2S getting into the tent biz

Not for me personally but looks interesting, comparable weights to similar BA tents at a glance. Seems to be more focus on the "features", eg. "tension ridge" and "hangout mode" than the basics but they do look like a decent addition to that market segment.

Interesting.

Got to give them props for unveiling a very dramatic design. Seems the focus is on reducing condensation and high ceiling livibility.

Though.. Sil nylon, questionable wind stability, 15d fly. Weight is decent at 1.5kg+ for the two person.

I'd like to see a video as the pics don't show a lot.

Perhaps aimed at the American market?
To me it seems like a tent for those times when perhaps you don't really need a tent?
I do like the idea of greater internal height tho

Yeh that was my thinking and hence why it's not for me, prefer tarps for such purposes (which are lighter anyway). Still think it might be a competitor for BA style tents, not so much for harsh conditions but a comfortable, light tent for leisurely 3 season trips?

S2S have been in the "tent business" for several years with the specialist Solo and Duo models - now discontinued and the Escapist tarp and bug shelter.
