TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hey
Where does everyone get their maps printed?
Ideally I'd need a A1 size to fit the whole thing on. But it seems to get a bit expensive after you've got the print (and postage if internet based)
Interested to see how others might have solved this problem.

Haven’t done it but some people use Officeworks and print on Tyvek paper.

I usually use my phone as a digital map.
For longer trips I sometimes print. I found that officeworks for larger prints wasnt that great for quality or ease of use. It depends on the experience of the staff member you get and how busy they are.
Now I just take it to my local print shop. Costs about the same and they take the time to get it right. I usually print at A3 on slightly glossy paper and store in a zip lock.

If you're looking for sizes larger than A3, some engineering / drafting / design firms will have a suitable printer.
