TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hi
I have just come across the Jetboil 'knock-off', the Fire Maple Fixed star 2 FMS-X2 and Fixed star 3 FMS-X3, which look interesting if for nothing else their price against a JetBoil. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either stove.
Thanks
Andrew

Thanks, John
The Fire Maple Star X3 is 240 g heavier than the JetBoil MicroMo, which comes in at 360 grams. It is bigger than the JetBoil, 133 x 185 versus 104 x 159, but based on a price comparison, the FireMaple is $92 from FireMaple's AliExpress store, whereas the JetBoil is $214 from Amazon (International).
I may well cope with the extra 240 grams and go the X3 to save the $.
