TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Another sleeping bag question??

Anybody here have any experience with the bag in the ebat listing below

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/260850492816 ... 1423.l2649

I have always preferred the short centre zip and very few people use the deisgn

Price seems unbeatable if the quality is up to scratch

I bought this bag second hand last year of ebay for about $150.

I haven't used it myself because of its length but my wife, son and daughter have used it and found it very good and it packs down really well. They had no concerns with the shorter zip. The temperature rating appears fine. The bag is reasonably small so you may struggle if you have broad shoulders - I guess this is just a matter of checking the dimensions against what you use now.

They have tall//long in stock for the same price.
if they are no smaller than the original Chouinard/Mountain Design Ultralite then I can fit in; any skinnier than that and I would not fit.
