TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

FYI Hobart people
North Hobart Veterinary Hospital are happy to sell "Dead Dog Bags" for the sum of $5 each. They are probably around 100L in size, allowing enough for my 70L pack plus some additional material to fold over at the top. Ask for the XL size.
Obviously they've clicked on to what we're up to, because they actually asked me if I was going camping when I asked for one
