TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hi all,
Just thought I'd let others know that Mountain Equipment (Kent St, Sydney) is selling the Lowe Alpine Zepton 50 packs for $150, which I reckon is a pretty good deal. In my opinion, they're an excellent lightweight internal-frame pack - I bought one myself. I weighed it at 1164g. They do not have an adjustable torso length (i.e. they will either fit you or not), however there is an XL size as well as the normal size. I believe there is also a women's model. They also received a "Recommended" rating from Roger Caffin in his 2010 State of the Market report for backpackinglight.com.
Cheers,
Chris

You mean the Zepton 50 or the Nanon 50+10? The Nanon is sort of adjustable.
Either way a great deal! I just bought a Zepton XL on special from the States and with postage it cost me about $175

Oops, yes, I've corrected that.
