TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

How many others have my problem. got all my C**p together, wrote my checklist based on experience and the expected conditions, culled some extra items and now I want to repack and put in an old merino wool jumper "just in case I get cold"

Pulk, so weight isn't too big an issue
I'm doing a long stay at and around Pretty Valley.
So I am going to combine some resort Telemarking with some extended day touring and a quick side trip to do Feathertop ( I always take an axe and crampons for Feathertop) I tend to ski hot and get cold quickly when I stop

Wow  ask and you will receive as my old Dad used to say , not on you back but on a Sledge type vehicle brilliant !! one question however how do you stop it running into you on a downhill slope and I may add that in the Snow areas I mostly walk in it would be a hindrance (only been to Mt Field once where it would be good) but brilliant never the less.

Rigid tow bars
On skis it does add to the speed so you need to be careful.
Because I intend to be out until I run out of fuel or food I thought it prudent to take one spare set of clothes, something I stopped doing for week-end walks a decade ago.
My wife is laughing at me, I just tried on all my layers and broke into an immediate sweat ( the heating being set on 21C 'cos she is sick with a broken kneecap )
I may leave the tracksuit behind, simply too warm.
