TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Just came across this new anti-mosquito stick-on. A startup project that sounded promising and has been backed by the Gates Foundation. If it works well, no doubt it'll filter down to the hiking/bushwalking market at some point. No ideas if it'll work on other insects though.

Nice and light at least!
I hope it works better than the battery operated keychain type mozzie repellants
We can learn a lot from crayons. They come in different shapes and colours, but they all have to live in the same box

Here's what happens when you actually get a bite. What a feeding mosquito looks like under a microscope.
