I already have mine on the way so I don't need this one but if anyone needs a cheap set of winter gear, albeit a little on the heavy and robust size these fit the bill and they are good value

Interestingly he started with 27 sets and is already down to 5 of them, if I did not already have the pants and a large parka on the way I would have bought at that price.
The old M-65 Fishtail is my favourite winter parka, it is just too heavy for bushwalking,

I'm really much better looking and younger I think, Although not by much.
Seriously tho thus stuff is "State of the Art" except that it is selected for robustness at the expense of weight, still this set is good for our soggy wet winters. EPIC fabric has some nice properties and I practically lived in my suit this winter when in Camp. The parka is sized to fit well over a down jacket and that is how I will utilise mine when it arrives.

My parka arrived from my Evil Sister-in-law today. First impression? Even bigger than it looks in the photo, I'm normally an XL or XXL and this Large fits over my XL down parka with ease so it is cut much larger than the old M-65 Fishtail, anybody who is thinking of getting one I would suggest getting the next size down for normal use. Also the hand-warmer pockets are very small on mine [ probably why it was so cheap] where-as the original had huge pockets.
Second impression very very warm> It's 12C inside the house at the moment so not a fair test but I am sweating while I type this, windows open wide and a stiff breeze blowing though the house, just sitting here with it draped across my shoulders over my T-shirt
