TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Aarn pockets and old pack?

Mon 18 Nov, 2013 6:59 am

I love the concept of balancing out your load with a front carried counterweight. I also like the split front pockets giving better vision of your feet as you walk.......but I cant bring myself to retire my 20yo Cascade.
My question is....would it be possible to use some new Aarn front pockets on my old Cascade 65 to improve my walking ergonomics and carrying capacity?

It might be possible with the new hip belt holsters. http://aarnpacks.com/products/accessories.html

I'll have a pair of these maybe this week for a closer look at how they work.
