TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

My major bone of contention is for active activities such as bush walking the majority of the participating population should be closer to the ideal BMI index so outdoor garments should be using a different ratio compared to the normal population.
Beware BMI as a measure. It is a blunt instrument. Recently they looked as a group of NRL players with less that 20% body fat. By BMI they were all obese, several morbidly obese. The body shape required in rugby league gives a high BMI. Percentage body fat, girth and recent studies of visceral fat have been better measures of obesity.
Now I have really have gone off topic!!

I have just spent my Rudd money on a new jacket. Got the Macpac resolution with the Event fabric. Will give an update when I have given it a good test.

I have an Oringi Grampian. A tough coat but I get very damp if I do much physically.
