TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I've been looking for a LW synthetic bag for a couple of years now to replace my old one
I tried the Mont-Bell Burrow and that was far too small for me.
I like a synthetic bag for summer as I often tarp camp without a bivvy sack and in winter it lives in my day bag along with other gear as my "Just-in-case" sleeping setup.
My current synthetic bags girth is too small for me to wear my big DAS parks inside it if need be
So
Has anybody bought and used the Macpac Epic 160?
I'm interested for a few reasons one of which is that it is lighter but should be warmer than my current Thinsulate bag and the other because it could be used with either of my half bags and a down top when it wasn't cold enough for my big sleeping bag and it is currently on sale

I like my bivvy for keeping the critters out, as much as the weather, but your mileage obviously varies.

I finally got an answer from Macpac
While the foot size is good for what I want the shoulder girth isn't
Epic 160 dimensions:
225 cm total length
85 cm shoulder width
46 cm foot width
It is 5 – 10 cm bigger than our Std size Epic bags, but as we only do the Epic 160 in one size, it isn’t oversized compared to an XL bag
So it is actually narrower than my current bag by a centimeter
Looks like I keep looking or actually do that DIY project
