TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Don't want to use your carbon fibre shafted technical axe for banging in tent pegs??
Can't afford the real thing??
I just ordered on of these because I just found out what my old CAMP/InterAlp North Wall hammer is worth as a collectors item

I bought one of these a while back to throw in the car camping kit.
Does the job as a light&compactish tent peg driver/remover. Can't comment on driving into snow and ice, but I'm sure it's adequate.

They look pretty good - pegs in and out plus a trenching tool - ideal for car camping - now which colour?
