TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. The Terradora is actually narrower than usual for a Keen shoe/boot, so they wouldn't suit you anyway.

Do you know of any men's Keen models that do have a considerably lower drop than the Targhees?

Sorry, no. Drop is not something I've ever looked at in footwear. I'm too busy checking the ball and heel width, arch support, instep height and room for orthotics. It would be simpler if we could afford custom made boots.
