TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hi, I received in the post today something I was eagerly waiting some time for. One Planets new updated Hydration Bladder Holder.

The Hydration Bladder Holder straps to the top of a One Planet Pack, under the main lid, It comes with straps and buckles that attach to the top compression straps on each side of a One Planet Pack.

The Hydration pack appears to be very sturdy and from what I can it's water proof, apart from the zip. The Bladder Holder I been told by One Planet is able to fit a 3 litre Water Bladder. I own a Source 3 Litre Bladder, I filled my Source Water Bladder with 3 Litres of water, and just managed to fit into the Bladder Holder, however it was a very very tight fit, to tight for my liking. I than removed half a litre of water and it fits a lot better.

I am thinking the way the Bladder Holder is attached to the pack under the lid, water should remain cool. Prior to this, I inserted my water bladder with 2 litres of water inside the zipped compartment on top of my One Planet Pack. Being at the top it was exposed to the sun and by the end of the day, the water was very warm to drink. I'll be testing out this Bladder Holder on a hiking trip planned in and about Sydney next week.

Well done One Planet on making a larger Water Bladder Holder. I can now have my top zip pocket back.
