TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. Hey Dan,
You say your GF is 5'9''... the link to the Main Peak website is for a the Short length in the sleeping bag, which would be much too short for her.
You might also want to consider the Traverse I for $299.95 from http://www.outdoordeals.com.au/... not sure if it's warm enough but it's at a very good price!
STS bags are great quality though, as are OP.

Also take a look at the Macpac bags that they have on clearance, and the Marmot Pinnacle, Lithium & Helium bags if you don't mind getting one in from the U.S. from somewhere like Basegear.
