TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

"do agree the grey-ish colour isn't the wisest for light transmission and visibility in mist. Is there any reason Henry has no flexibility in the colour scheme area?"

There are several colours available with more or less the same base and coating but it isn't practical for TT to have more than one colour and whatever other colour we would choose would please some and displease most.
For example some like yellow but others reckon it attracts insects and or is too bright.
Because all of our shelters are single skin or can be used as single skin, whatever colour you choose it will cause a colour cast inside.
So if you spend some time inside a green tent you will see red when you come out of it...
But do keep in mind that about 8% of Aussie males (but only 0.4 of females...) suffer from some colour blindness/deficiency so you need to take comments about colours with 2 grains of salt.

Odd remark from someone that has (?) the tent ...

There's no such thing as a faultless piece of kit. The Scarp's a great tent. But it's not perfect.
