TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

black diamond 60l infinity, 1.7 kilos, extremely comfortable hip harnes that has a swivel joint that bears the weight allowing the belt to pivot, shoulder straps run as a loop under the swivel meaning straps automatically shorten and lengthen as your body posture changes from stride to stride.... holds as much weight as much heavier packs with ease..., ample outside stretchy pockets to hold extra gear..
have a 35 litre osprey pack as as well 1.3 kilos with a frame, again very comfortable. heaps of pockets for gear.
