TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

HUbba Hubba Gear Loft

Sun 27 May, 2012 8:25 pm

I was quite surprised that the Hubba Hubba came not with a gear loft.

Can anyone recommend one that works/fits well and where to get it. I know there is an MSR universal one but apparently it doesn't fit in the Hubba Hubba well so what have you used?

Perhaps because yours is a HP? It has one but not the HH.

Forgive my ignorance but what is a 'gear loft'?

Typically a mesh panel that is suspended from the tent ceiling to store a small amount of gear.

Not sure there, mine came with gear loft (I think it was the HP one - if that means the light weight one that is).
They are a great thing to use to dry out clothes when it is a bit damp outside, I use mine all the time.
