TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

US gear price comparison site

I have found this site good to look for cheaper prices on some US gear.
It compares different shops for the best price for bushwalking gear.

Sometimes the postage US shops charge online is totally over the top.
I got a 50 % reductions of a sleeping bag postage cost by contacting support for my last purchase.

Yes did watch some and it did raise a small grin ,strange thing is Wallace as an upper class citizen from the Lowlands of Scotland most probably wore Saxon style clothing and never the Philibeg (kilt to you Sassenachs) and he most certainly would have not have painted his face or bared his bum , good movie but!!
