Walking Boot Widths

Hi. Wondering if anyone on this forum may know what the BXX shoe LAST size is equivalent too? (possibly M or W width sizing maybe?)
I have a problem with wide feet. I recently purchased a pair of Scarpa walking boots in the wider BXX size.
They where on the tight side (width) but, being leather, I thought they would stretch a bit and they have but they are still too tight. Fine for walking short distances but anything longer and they get uncomfortable.
I like a size 10.5 or EU45. I have tried bigger sizes to get the width right but the extra length gets loose and annoying.
All I need is my size in a wider fit than the BXX.
Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, Have a look at a lace up boot made by the Australian company Redback.
They have a boot called ALPINE, I believe is very suitable for bushwalking.
I find Australian boots are wider than those from Italy (hiking shops wont tell you this.)
Redbacks are sold at workwear outlets and have a web site.

I don't know of the boot you are asking about, I have a similar experience with scarpa SL over time they do give and if you take them to the local authorized repairer they can stretch them a considerable amount,. Anyway, both Asolo and Lowa make boots in a wide fitting with Lowa even an extra wide. There are companies in the Us and UK that will handmade walking boots to fit it required.
