anyone got comments on these jackets
i'm wondering about durability of the mohawk and trojan against the superfly..

Not sure how they compare - i have an older model superfly and have been happy with it.

the small hood on my current jacket is driving me nuts.
seems to be a lot of praise for the xt superfly from various people on this forum...
i think the trojan is a new lightweight model so a bit unknown... the mohawk looks like its somewhere in between, 100gm lighter than the superfly but with stretch panels.

I have the Montane Air, which is even lighter, and I like it for that. It fits in the provided small pouch, perfect to put it in a daypack. Nevertheless, the surface fabric doesn't stand scratches on pointy rocks and such (but I'm not sure the xt superfly would either ?), but it's fine for tough scrub or grabbing branches. I'd wait for some sales though, maybe the next one on mainpeak, the best price I can find is 400 $ on campsaver : http://www.campsaver.com/superfly-xt-jacket-men-s and it's for a XXL... normal price seems to be 500 $ on amazon US.

unfortunatley i've got a lot of walking coming up and need one pretty soon

I have the superfly xt, happy with it so far, Havent used it in real anger yet. Like the build quality. Too many pockets, could have got away with one set less.
