So. you're shopping for gear. you see gear on sale and it says "last seasons colour" so they are discounting it because its not the "in fashion colour for this season..."
so what would you buy?
personally i go for whatever brighter colours are there mainly for safety reasons not because i like looking like the Wiggles

I have never really noticed bushwalking gear being advertised in seasonal colours, probably because my gear tends to be muted colours, black, brown or green. My pack and tent are light grey. I would not like standing out in eye watering fluro.

if you look at teh sales you might find some colours of various garments are cheaper than others, kathmandu, bivouac are examples...

He's not a Pole, he's Romanian. The purple tinge is from the good thrashing I gave him with my riding crop..

Mud colour is always a safe bet - goes with everything else after a good long walk in the rain

I never got the idea of wearing colors based on the current season...

I grew up wearing cargos, polos, and army boots when I went hiking. Its not about looking good, its about where you are, and being as far away from society and its idiotic way of thinking for a while.

Then again, where profit can be made...
