Locating a Cart / Trailer System - VIC

Hi Folks.

I'm in the early stages of planing a trip out to Wilsons Prom (Oberon and maybe Roaring Meg) for a friend with a physical disability. Due to the nature of their disability some car camping equipment will need to be hauled in. As such, I'm trying to locate somewhere that leases out hiking carts similar to this:

http://www.equinoxtrailers.com/store/item/192

Any variation would do, but simply put our team will have surplus haul gear we need to haul (plus one of parks' off road wheelchairs) and we need a way to do it.

It's kind of nichey so I don't expect to find much, and if that's the case may go with a custom built one.

Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations and cautions are welcomed.

The only other commercially available devices I could think of are the Chariot brand of child stroller/bike cart. They have a huge range of accessories to adapt them to almost any application, including a cross country ski pulling harness. The price of chariot system will be many times more expensive than this equinox setup. They are relatively common in Australia through bicycle shops.

John Muir did some long distance walks through Lake Eyre etc some years back with what appeared to be a custom made cart for supplies. It was written up in Wild magazine.

Some of the alternative bicycle frame manufacturers may be able to modify/manufacture something specifically also. However, for the money the equinox setup seems very good value compared to any custom made options.
