I just thought I'd share with you a nice little holster I found suitable for belt carrying carrying a 18650 cell or an Opinel no.8 Outdoor Knife (http://www.opinel.com/uk/tradition/multi-fonctions).
I sometimes use a 18650 based flashlight such as a ZebraLight SC600W in the bush hence the need for a spare cell (http://zebralight.com/SC600w-XM-L-18650 ... _p_74.html is the new version of the one I have).
It is SKU 29354 from Deal Extreme http://dx.com/s/29354 and for US$1.49 DELIVERED to Australia, you really can't go wrong.
No doubt it would be suitable for other things but this is all I have tried so far.
For a $1.49 (shipped) the build quality and usefulness is not bad at all.

Just ought an opinel folder in a town in the Pyrenees. I've been using it for cheese, which seems overkill since it looks like it'd dismember a wild boar... Not sure what number it is but some in the shop looked like small folding swords

I see now. Looked at the handle, it's a number 12.
