G'day all
Anyone tried any of the Carn boots out yet ?
Reviews look ok, and I've just ordered a pair of the Statospheres out of curiosity. Will see how they handle the southwest.
Cheers

I had a pair of the stratosphere shoes
They are very comfortable and require almost no breaking in. The inner sole is extremely comfortable and I have taken the inner out to use in my boots.
The downside was they did not prove to be very tough. The shoes failed after about a year of moderate use. They failed in two locations. The sole and upper started to separate adjacent to the start of the laces. I also had problems with the inside lining falling apart. I returned my first pair but a second pair suffered a similar fate.
My wife has a different model and they are fine but she walks less and is much easier on her shoes generally.
Hopefully the model you get are more resilient.
They do feel different to most shoes and feel lose on your heel however they stay in place

cheers for that.
The comfort seems to be a common thread in most of the reviews Ive seen. I seem to be able to demolish synthetic boots within a year, and normally revert back to leather, but for $130 a pair, willing to give them a go..
