Anyone bought anything of this brand. What are the backpack like? I never heard of this brand and I saw backpacks on ebay a while ago that I thought the Brand Jack Wolfskin was some Chinese ripoff of the name Blackwolf. Seems they are not.

I was in Europe over winter and every second person was wearing something branded jack wolf skin. Don't know what the gear is like though.

Jack Wolfskin is a big German brand. My work mate has quite a bit of their gear and he believes in it.

Cool. I did actually pick up a 55lt, pack very cheap from ebay. Looks the goods, but for what I payed I think its is a Chinese ripoff. Even if the seller was here in oz

Its a German brand from the state Hessia (where i am from) with a high quality level, i would say the highiest, depends on what are you searching for. they have cheaper products and big variety but also expensive stuff with high researching.
Its definitely no chinese rip of, even if you can buy old products for cheap on ebay.
I m very into this stuff, they make their own mambrane from PU and not from Teflon like Goretex, its better for the Environment and definitely does better work in my experience, this year they invented the first worldwide Softshell with high-power-membrane called "Texapore O3 Softshell", use this 400-€ Jacket durig my trip and its worth its price. An NZ-shop asked me about the material few weeks ago, for anyone who s interested: they combine hydrophile porefree membranes and microporous membranes with a catalysator-foil and an laminated distance-lining on the inside, forget about mammut north face or your kathmandu stuff men, 50.000nm waterproof and 40.000 MVTR breathability in a softshell,i love your country but german outdoor clothes are awesome just to say it. if you can buy stuff anywhere do it, they inform you great on the materials on the german site (maybe only in german?) this is no ad or something i just like this brand. sorry for my english, cheers

I bought a Jackwolfskin - polartec fleece type baselayer top OS. Been wearing it all the time - great comfort, warm and hasnt lost its shape after a heap of washes. Its excellent.
