I, first placed our mats side by side (all Downmats) to determine the minimum required floor plan. Already have a well known "3 man" tent that barely accommodates two mats! Work out all other needs,ie, vestibules, season rating, guy points & footprint size etc. One tent manufacturer that I lust over makes wonderful tents in this category but they are so long as to require quite an area to pitch them. All these things considered we purchased an MSR Holler which has suited our needs well. Think twice, buy once.

I looked at the MSR Holler randal but was concerned about the sloping walls, I haven't seen one in person but from what I could gather it looked like the useable space was inhibited by the narrow roof, is that the case? I would be open to reconsider this tent, would you mind sharing your experience with it? I will be making this purchase online so there will be no opportunity to try out any of these tents, thus the posting here for opinions.
Cheers
