Is that cuben fiber I spy? Good to see it creeping into the mainstream market. Pity there's little to no details about the tents.

does look like it, its a general review from the german outdoors show which is massive they are just whipping round showing highlights. just have to wait till more detail comes out...

Currently in Germany about to go to the last day of the show (been 3 busy days before this).
Seeing more Cuben around in a few demo tents from asian factories and pieces here or there but is still being held back from serious consideration by the mainstream due to price. The materials component when using a high quality nylon is already massive compared to many products and there is a limit to what a big tent maker can make a new model at and still find a big enouh market to buy it.
Some nice toys around but no jaw dropping new products this year - after 15 years of international shows that does not happen very often however.
