Looking for XXL Rainjacket....

I am looking for a good rain jacket that will actally fit!

I currently have a cheapish rain jacket that does fit however I would question its reliability on long walks
where walking in constant rain was on the menu i.e South coast track

This is where I am stuck! I have a 123cm chest measurement which is an XXL in most brands however I cannot find one anywhere!
Has anyone come across a XXL - 123cm good rain jacket for around $250-$350 in this size?

I have looked at OR there sizing chart actually goes up to that size however I have never been able to track one down.
I any of you stumble across one in the price range and size please post here, much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Genesis

Does it also need to be lightweight??
Almost all work wear goes up to XXXXXL, the downside is work wear tends to be heavy
have you tried ebay for army surplus? My new rain jacket is XXL eVent and very good value ( if you don't mind camouflage that is) but it is rainwear, not a parka

Moondog,

My current jacket is from a surplus site but is lightweight and not either Goretex or eVent but a cheaper 2 layer fabric (3 Peaks) and is campflauge.
I will try to persue this option, I know the australian Army do have Goretex rainwear and probably in the size I am after as well, thanks for the lead.

Genesis.

US is cheaper, even with postage.
You will be lucky to get surplus Australian gear; current policy is to destroy all surplus

Mont have some good sizing for wet weather gear and quick dry clothes
Safety workwear stores have a big range of sizes in their wet weather gear, i buy my cheap lightweight stuff from them.

Macpac make most of their rainwear up to a XXL - pretty hardy jackets for smashing through bush in the wet.

Keen to see what One Planet's new range of rainwear turns out like too. Don't think it's been released yet.

Try golf stores maybe? They tend to stock pretty large sizes and have some decent gear. Not ultra light though

I have a Marmot Aegis jacket which is a rain jacket - not a shell. I bought it in an XXL as I wanted plenty of room for layers under it. I normally fit nicely into a XL and wear XXL in some jumpers and shirts. The XXL in the marmot is BIG. Its only a 2 or 2.5 layer rain coat but I like it but its no Goretex or event hardshell.

Mont Tempest goes to XXL, and it's a great jacket!

I got one of these columbia peak2peak rain jackets in XXL and it has been fantastic thus far.

Forget the $350 retail as you will often find the XXL on evilbay in the US for about $70, a good budget jacket, dry and lightweight.

Unfortunately both macpac and mountain designs are now recruiting pixies for their sizing models. Why?...

Thank you all for your replies, I have quite a few leads and now have to decide on which one.
Best to tuck into a store and try a few on I reckon, but in NW Tassie there are few......
