TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. Scarpa Kinesis Pro GTX

Took my new Scarpa boots for there first hike yesterday, it was only 8km but I must say they were so very comfortable. Money very well spent, will be doing a few more smaller hikes before doing some longer ones. But first impressions are fantastic.

I've also recently bought some Scarpa's (same as your's) and yes, I agree - they are very comfortable! Seem to be a very good all-round boot overall. I'm yet to see how they go on any extended walks though.
Only those who live on the edge can see the view

I have these boots too and have taken them up the staircase spur to the summit of Bogong the past two weeks in a row through pretty deep snow. They are fantastic boots,mike having a pair of luxurious tanks on your feet. My feet were perfectly dry and not sore at the end of both hikes. My quads, on the other hand, were wrecked 
The mountain is calling me and I must go.
