TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hire gears in Hobart

Good evening

My girlfriend and I have booked our Overland Track next January 19, 2014 as we will be travelling across Australia and New Zealand for a couple of months. As we are not planning to carry all our gears for 3 and more months around the continent, we plan to rent what we would only need for the 6 days (or more) trial.

Does somebody know where I can rent tent, sleeping bags ... in Hobart?

Thank you for your help. Cheers
Linus

Personally I have a look to see if anyone has asked before, I also look at what google says:

Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.
