TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

they are Chinese.
I imported them for a while in 2005, sold alongside Fairydown. We didn't have many quality problems at all. The only issue is that as they are a chinese domestic brand the fit does not always suit larger (in height or girth) westerners.
as for Himilayan use- they (like many companies) pay a fair chunk of change so that people say what you just said...it's called sponsorship ;)

I checked out the brand just the other on Victoria St, Richmond. The quality looks on par with the established big brands, however I found their pricing higher than what you get from North Face, Mountain Hardware etc. It is going to be a tough sell for a relatively unknown brand here. Even the tags/advertising material was largely in Chinese.

Surprised the Melbourne store had stock of down suits and down pants.

Also noticed the 'Large' sizing was noticeably smaller than western brands. If you are familiar with Black Yak (South Korean brand) it is quite similar. Fit is targeted for the Asian market (I guess good for me!).
