Theoretical hammock mod

Has anyone heard or considered a hammock that has a stricture at the place where a neck would be?
It would need two connected spreader bars to prevent independent rotation but you would be able to have a 360 degree sleeping bag that cinches tight around your neck. That way you need no separate under quilt.
Of course, of it is heavier than a top and bottom quilt then it's not worthwhile.
It might be difficult to make it comfortable though.

I'm having a little trouble visualising this.
How would you adjust a hood?
How would this differ from a "Peapod"/??

I went and looked up peapod hammocks and realised that's pretty much what I was trying to describe.
Sorry for my bad english. (Würden Sie lieber Deutsch haben?o preferisci l'Italiano?)

Actually, it wasn't your English. It was just the descriptor (in English) that fckued my brain around so much that I couldn't get it......and I thought I had good lateral thought processing...
But it seems resolved now, Niet?

This is a quick sketch: The gap is made by two spreader bars.

Nope. Still not getting it...
Why do you need a two piece hammock to wrap up tight in a sleepingbag?
And is his head attached by string?

My neck is much wider and likes some support...

Icefest,
If I were you I would buy a cheap string hammock and do that mod on it.

I've not yet found a cheap string hammock big enough to be worthwhile Franco; if you know of any please give us a heads up.
I tried [ unsuccessfully] to sew 2 cheapies together to get enough length.

I meant to do a mock up of that design not a final product...

Guys, I did say that the peapod was a better solution for the problem than what I theorised.
Thanks for the advice though.
