Ultralightweight Gear :-)

Bushwalking gear and paraphernalia. Electronic gadget topics (inc. GPS, PLB, chargers) belong in the 'Techno Babble' sub-forum.
Forum rules
TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I note that corvus has put a big smiley in the title of this thread as well as " Big :D " at the end.
Let's remember this was intended to be humour and should be taken as such.

Along that line, how would the idea go of walking along with some helium balloons tied to your pack? Could help, so long as you don't have a head wind...

Hi All...

There's a few posts in this topic (and others) from a few people that I think are crossing the line of the number 1 forum rule: Please remember to keep all discussion polite and friendly, whether you agree with other people or not.

I know that most of such posts have been in jest, but please avoid posting in a negative manner whether in jest or not.

I spend some time in other forums where insults and slanging matches are the norm, and it's really unpleasant for everybody. I hope to keep this forum as a place where everybody can feel welcome.

Thanks! :)

I agree with this, however I feel there are some people on these forums who are just totally intolerable. Well, actually just one person whom I detest and find myself incapable of being civil toward.

It's that "Speculator" guy. What an idiot... he doesn't have any idea what he's on about, his photos in the gallery are rubbish, his avatar makes him look like an even bigger tool than he is.... and what's with that alias? "Speculator"... it reminds me of some daft song I heard from some long since forgotten band in the 90's.

I "speculate" that he should just sod off!.....
