Csmp footwear

Bushwalking gear and paraphernalia. Electronic gadget topics (inc. GPS, PLB, chargers) belong in the 'Techno Babble' sub-forum.

TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

The latest fashion colours in camp footwear now available weighing only 290gms for size 11

Wouldn't want to be seen in the plain grey ones. A bit pricey though at $4.99

Nice shoes, luckily there aren't many fashion police in the tasmanian wilderness :) . Are these ones purchased from Rivers?

DEAD SEXY!

I was wading around barefoot in Crater Lake yesterday, and I would have killed for a pair of those....

Has anyone tried these in snow yet?
Only managed to wear my beautiful blue Rivers versions once at the Walls recently.
They would have been great for a nocturnal excursion on lovely powdery snow, but I thought it wiser to spend time donning the boots in case crocs were lethal.

I reckon in sloshy snow they'd be very wet and in hard snow they'd be super slippery! Have to try em this winter.

To stop the snow getting in you could use a plastic bag over your socks. Then you would be the ultimate fashion guru!!

year, they do but I find that, as they are usually only used at the end of the day or at night they're fine for bushwalks (in tas) more often than not its nice to have warm toes and theyr'e good around squishy campsites.
Not cheap though (unless your size 2 or 16 or want pink!)
